My body is together in the world. It is both visible and mobile. What is outside is not cut off but prolonged by itself in a physical way. Both sensed and sensing, my body is undivided. Interiority is equal to the material world; not coming first or resulting from it. The eye and the mind produce this reality, this Being.<\/p>\n

My eyes move and are attracted by things in the world. My eyes create a \u2018map\u2019 of what is visible. While painting, through moving and constantly making me aware that I am changing place, my eyes also create a \u2018map\u2019 of what I am able to paint because I can project myself into this world. So my Being, similar to the painting itself, is composed of both what is visible and what \u2018I can\u2019. This means that I not only experience a sensorial representation of the world but I am also aware of the immanence of an image that is within me.
